I love my electric bike!

Gale force wind, driving rain and a big smile! The ride home from work this afternoon has made me really glad i bought an electric bike. I passed many miserable looking people on normal bikes struggling to ride into the wind.

Just found out my waterproof jacket isn't waterproof though, more like showerproof

Yes, great isn't it Jed. It never ceases to surprise how little a headwind affects an electric bike. On unpowered bikes a stiff breeze in the face so easily brings one almost to a halt at times, my pet hate when unpowered being a headwind when climbing a hill.

I find I do get annoyed with the wind if I can't do 22mph! But, if I relax and let the speed drop to 15-18mph the bike has no problem whatsoever and it then becomes an effortless ride home.

I've just moved back to London and I'm waiting for my Torq to follow... cannot wait to do a full circuit of the city in about an hour flat - there's no faster way of doing it! Makes London seem rather small and manageable.
