So I bought a new controller off of eBay with the SW 900 LCD display I didn't notice that when I went to put on the hub motor it didn't have a white wire for the hall line so I don't know I heard that that's the speed sensor and that's okay you don't have to connect that but my LCD isn't the right connection either what can I do to connect it to this controller I'm not too familiar and kind of new to this

Cut the connectors off and join the wires directly if they don't match. If the wire colours don't match, show what you have.

Terrible photo, but, AFAICS, the white wire you're holding is the speed sensor wire from or for the motor, depending on which direction it goes. If it's from the motor cable, then it goes to the speed sensor connector on the controller. The connector should have a three pin connector. You only need to connect it to the wire that isn't red or black because it already has its own red and black in the motor cable.

Without that wire connected, your LCD speed will work OK if you have a direct drive motor. For a geared motor, it'll only show speed when the motor is driving, not when free-wheeling, and whichever motor you have, you need to set the number of magnets in the LCD setting.
