Hydraulic brakes on cargo trike

Hello

I would like to fit Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes to the two front wheels of my cargo trike. Currently I have cable rim brakes and they don’t provide sufficient braking force when the trike is loaded. The cable brakes are operated in parallel from a single lever. The lever also has a lock button so that the brakes can be permanently engaged (operate as a handbrake) and prevent the trike rolling away when parked.

I would like to know whether anybody has experience of splitting the hydraulic system into parallel such that two pairs of pistons can be operated with one lever?

Does anybody have any suggestions for how to fit a park brake once I’ve removed the existing one.

Are you certain that the loads you are carrying are not above the maximum recommended weight(s) for the bike?
Also, IMHO, disk brakes would be far better, from my many years of experience with rim/ Vee brakes, but only one bike with Disk brakes. The disk brakes I have really stop my bike......It is quite an amazing difference. Progressive and very, very powerful!!!

Hs 11's are certainly a very effective brake, really the rim is like a huge disc. I did wonder if you could put a Y splitter in the hydraulic tube, but I guess there wouldn't be enough lever travel to operate both brakes.
What's the braking on the rear wheel?

Fitted discs to a trike, just added a t piece [ purchased a front and rear as a pair] and had to re-bleed but had to move the parking brake to a home made lever, should be the same with the 11s t piece and bleed m
