The only problems I can see with the SKS Beavertail XL is that you might well have to do a bit of cutting to get them to fit. You mention the width of the rear crossmember is 46mm, and also I know the tyres fitted to your bike are 42mm maximum width. The Beavertail XL is marketed as "Especially for all Mountainbikes with extra fat tires" (which yours certainly aren't) and mentions tyres up to 54mm wide - wider than your 46mm mount. I think for a similar style mudguard I'd look at the SKS Velo 47 Trekking, or you might even be able to get away with the SKS Velo 42 Urban.I'm looking at these.. but still concerned about the rear bracket

When I was younger I had a turtleneck polava but I prefer a 'V' neck these days.
