I'm not sure anyone 'owns' a cat. The big ginger tom, who lives at our house, turned up about 18 months ago. He came in through the door as I came home late one night, took a tour around all the rooms, decided we'd do and hasn't left since. That despite not feeding him for the first ten days. Turned out the crafty git was going next door for breakfast then kipping on our setee. He now owns the place and is demanding a name change on the title deeds:confused:

That's so typical of domestic cats, they decide where to live. Most of the appeals about a missing cat are due to the cat moving to another household that it likes better and I've known a number of proven cases of that. Even the apparently contented ones almost invariably have a fallback home in reserve that they visit regularly, it's their form of home insurance!

4 leg vermin !!
Yep, i agree........ apart from the 10% of the time they stay on their owners property, the rest of the time they are vermin.
They ** in peoples gardens, they have scratched the paintwork of my car when they jump up and skid across the bonnet..... not to mention all the thousands of birds and small mammals they decimate.

Here's a novel idea...... how about cat owners actually beIng responsible for THEIR pets and stopping them going on and crapping on other peoples property.
and dog owners who scoop their dog's mess into a plastic bag, then throw the bag into a bush or tree are responsible!

Not looking for an argument, just suggesting that not all owners of one breed of animal are squeaky clean.

2 leg vermin ;)

Not a Cat lover, but look what my cctv picked up this morning.. Think its a Rat but cant see a tail...
Unless it's a cat moving it's kittens to a new location, possibly a feral cat. Cats of all species move their offspring by carrying one at a time if they feel threatened in any way.

Don't think so. It patrols this route every morning and it looks pretty dead to me. We think it might be a young rabbit.

Nope...... and your point being ?
It might be that you can't train a cat to **** in one place. They go where they want and are independent. A dog is part of the pack and learns and works with its master/ pack leader.
