Hi all,

I usually push off using throttle due to limited mobility in my legs and manage 7-9mph at times with use of throttle intermittently.

I have a KT sensorless controller and LCD3 fitted to a 200w geared hub motored ebike. Shimano 6 speed. 16" wheels with 235rpm. 24v 17.5ah battery.

At the moment I'm unable to pedal much. What is the best display setting for pedal assist, and do you have any riding advice, so as to achieve cycling/motor efficiency?

If one is having issues then the obvious PAS setting is PAS 4 50% power/current or go the whole hog and PAS 5 100% power/current , though range will be reduced some what.
Effienecy is simple PAS1 and ride above the cut off speed as much as possible , however if one has issues pedalling getting efficiency is likely going to be difficult.

I use PAS 1 and though not a super athlete or a Garaint Thomas , like most am quite cycling fit , from my 6ah battery I can manage 30 miles or even more though it is weather / air resistant dependant.

This helps a bunch. Thanks, Nealh

I think to make start off easier you could try setting C1 to either 0 or 5, depending upon if your pas sensor is forward or reverse.

And also C14 to 3 will give you maximum pas strength.

This will make it easier for you, but will mean that your battery will discharge quicker because the motor will be doing more work.
