Help! How to set up KT T06P LCD4 kit + 250w sensorless motor

It may just be that the motor doesn't like the Kt controller, personally I have used a few different hubs with sinewave Kt and never encountered an issue so can only assume it may be an incompatability issue.

Running sensorless often gives problems.

Yes is a phase issue.
What is your C5 setting, is too much current being asked for ?

Hi, it was on 10 by default, which is the maximum current value. I tried all settings, and C5=3 (Maximum current value ÷ 2.00) is the only one that made a difference. I do sometimes get a short noise when going uphill, but it happens very rarely and goes away in like a second or less, barely noticeable.

So, after trying all the suggestions received here and from other sources, nothing worked to cure it 100%. Therefore, I'll have to settle with this solution, although the bike feels way slower than it used to be before installing this controller. Well, at least it works and runs smoothly now that I dialled it down a bit so can't complain...thank you all for your help! Much appreciated

I just remembered something. Some KT controllers, like the dual mode ones have more settings. As well as P and C parameters, they have L parameters. One of them (L3) deals with which mode it will run it. maybe that or one of the other L parameters will have some influence on your problem. You need to find an LCD4 manual that has the L parameters in it to see what they do, and you need the LCD4 that gives access to them.

If one has L settings then L3/0 will activate non -Hall mode .
