Hi all,

I have a multimeter and would like to measure the range I have left in my battery. What setting do I select and where do I place the pins?

Thanks in advance.

Tell us the bike as some systems won't give a voltage reading.
Physically you can't actually measure the range left, you can get a voltage reading on which you can make a rough estimate of how far you might go.

For a voltage reading set the scale to DC, this means turn the dial to the LHS where it should have a V -- over …, set the dial to 200v. On the bottom the probes need to be in the correct holes, Red one on the left V ohm mA and the Black probe in the middle COM hole.
On the base of the battery of the battery are the discharge pins often they are labelled + + -, Red probe to plus and Black to minus. Don't let the metal probes touch each other or short the pins out.
