How to access Private Messages?

Hi, I'm trying to access some private messages that other forum members have sent to me, yet when I click on the link to them I get a screen saying...

You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. You are not logged in. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page and try again.
2. You may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
3. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

...followed by the login fields. When I try to login (though I'm already logged in, so I'm not sure why it's asking me to do it again) I just get stuck in an endless login loop (10 Login Screen, 20 Goto Login Screen?! for any who remembers BASIC...). As far as I'm aware none of the above three points apply?

At the bottom of the screen it suggests that I need to register. I think I am already registered.

Any suggestions folks?

You probably need to delete the Pedelecs cookies and then log back into the site with your original username and password.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, General Tab, and then use the Delete Cookies button.

In Mozilla Firefox, Tools, Options, Privacy Tab, Show Cookies. Then scroll to the Pedelecs folder, highlight it and click Remove Cookies (not remove all cookies).
