Hi All.I know im probubly doing this is the wrong place but here goes, I am selling my bike and would like to know roughly how much to ask for it!!!!

BIKE = FREEGO EAGLE - GREEN

This bike is about 4 years old and is a direct replacement for one which I unfortunately broke and has been ridden by me most days since and used mostly for my commute to work and back of roughly 8/10 miles each way without any problem and the odd Tripp from Exeter to Tiegnmouth and back about 40miles with no problem at all, there are the usual scratches and chips you would expect for a bike of this age but everything works well and the battery was replaced about 9 months ago at a cost of £450 also has just had a new throttle and front junction box ( where all the wires go into)Also has new brake pads front and rear and the tires front & rear nearly new ,I've also waterproofed all the holes on the frame where the wiring enters and leaves the frame so there is no water ingress to the control unit in the bottom of the frame. Also the front brake has been converted to a twin piston hydraulic brake (with no sensor).

Fleccs valuation formula was roughly:

(New price - battery replacement cost) x 45% (4 year old bike)

Then add the battery residual value back in, which is:

(450 /24)x15 = £281(in your case)

So, how much was it new?

Well, that demonstrates that Flecc's formula doesn't work anymore as it values your bike at over £750.
