The reason I would like to know is that I have a 36v 350W controller driving a hall effect front wheel with 2 x 8000ah 18v Lipos in series.
If I add another 18volt lipo this will give me 54 volts - surely too much?
So if I acquire a 48volt controller and another 18v lipo and then over volt to 54 would this be ok?
I just need a bit more speed I'm topping out at 15mph on the canal tow path, I could just do with nudging 20mph.
I have soldered the shunt a bit to give me a some more oomph. The speed limit wires that come out of the controller are not connected, so that cant be affecting the speed.
