How long to wait for a warranty repair?

I am looking for opinions on how long it is reasonable to wait for a warranty repair.
The pannier track on my cube town bike broke - as in actually snapped. This caused the wheel to rub against the mudguard, although some cable ties got me home.
Worth noting that a month ago a bolt sheared off the top of the pannier, although this was fixed when I called in.

I left it into CRC on the 12th. Had to chase them and on Tuesday they said it had to be sent to be checked at their workshop. Luckily this is only up the road. Apparently the guy in charge of warranty work had been on holiday

I have been without a bike for two weeks though, and before I start giving them a hard time I wanted your opinions on what is reasonable.

If they say it will take another couple of weeks do I ask for a loaner?
I'm paying £80 odd quid a month on the cycle to work scheme and I can't ride the bike :-(

Under SoGA, defective items must be repaired at minimal inconvenience to the customer usually defined as 14-28 days depending on the product.

If it's not repaired after 14 days then I think it is perfectly fair and reasonable to ask for a loan bike.

Why do you need to leave the bike with them at all?
Why not ask them to order the parts in and I'd think you could fit them in 10 minutes yourself.

Other than my general cackhandedness and lack of time to do it, it is a warranty issue.
If it went wrong again I wouldn't like them saying that I hadn't fixed it properly.
It's still at their workshop. I'll be calling in person on Monday and will want a guaranteed fix date.
