I saw that article earlier, he was one very lucky dude, 99.9% of cops won't even take a statement unless you demand a crime number for insurance...even then they point you to doing it online as mostly IMO they are lazy useless cnts.

My son pung me this morning to say hs rear wheel had just been nicked and replaced by one too large....thieving scum...

He reported it to two cops he passed as he was walking to school, guess what, they couldn't have given a fck and didn't even take his name....scum....

Replaced with a larger wheel?!??! TF?!?!? A thief with a partially functioning conscience? Or did stealing your son's wheel look less like a theft occurring, if it's being replaced?

Cnt was obviously passing on his bike, saw the wheel and swapped them when it was locked outside row of shops and he was playing football nearby....

Some of the thieving scum's stable of stolen bikes have crappy parts, so rather than go to the trouble of disposing of a crap wheel too large for his wheelie bin... he walks around with it until he finds a good wheel he can upgrade one of his bikes with... and uses the wheel swap as cover for theft? Double "D" locks!

Kryptonite Evolution on the bike frame, apparently he'd 'forgot' the Kryptonite cable for back wheel...expensive mistake for him. I won't be paying this time and it will make a big dent in his 'savings'. Time he learnt...harsh as that is...the cable would've stopped the casual thief...

Maybe he thought he was improving the bike aas a charitable gesture. A lot of people don't like that Halfords stuff. It looks OK apart from the worn disc.
