250 miles strip down and clean.. Wheels off, Chain and jockey wheels off (surprised at how much crap was on these) would have had pedals and front ring off but I supose I will need a special tool thats different to the classic spider tool...

Leaving them out in the rain works quite well, especially if one avoids using oil on the bike, making the dirt stick.

I chipped a big chunk of dried mud off mine with a screwdriver the other day, just needs the rain to rinse it now.
Should see it now-good as new.

Easy with a hybrid that doesn't go mud plugging.....

Bucket of water with a squirt of washing up liquid in it, using a brush, sponge and then rinse..... about 10 minutes.

Jobs a good un.

I only go out when the sun shines and use a Feather Duster when I get back.

Pressure washer on full blast pay particular attention to the bottom bracket, wheel bearings, headset, cables, cassette and especially anything electrical.
Keep blasting for at least 1 hour and everything should be nice and clean.

Mind you the electrics will have drowned (As my PAS sensor was) still the good news is that being reduced to pedalling what has become a heavy push bike is no doubt good for the waistline!
What's not to like? highly recommended! ;)o_O
