hello all still not ridden my ebike am still awaiting some bits from amazon. my ebike is mountain style bike bottle battery on front downtube ,controller on seatpost downtube, although I have no rack fitted at the moment hence no panier /saddlebag,
as my front wheel is quick release, and the rear includes the hub moter I would use dlock or chain for rear and something similar for the front.
I can see no way to mount anything to the frame, (might get away with one on seatpost) front handlebar is already cluttered (that's without my cycle computer or lights) for front pouch? rucksack for the moment but don't fancy that once the summer comes.

thank you

I use a large lock and carry it over my neck and shoulder, however as i mostly use the bike for work ,i often leave the lock on the cycle stand there,as do many others, its much easier than carrying it about.

Depending on where I am going I use a cable to loop the wheels too but that just gets shoved in my bag. I also use a canvas belt pouch thing on the other side that takes a multitool, puncture kit and other little bits.

I also use these to declutter my handlebars. The phone part just clips onto/into the headset mounted cleat part which replaces a 5mm spacer, fitted them to all my bikes and I just clip in and out my phone with strava on when I'm swapping between bikes.

Strava if you don't know what it is. Nobody follows me but I still get all the info on my rides and it can do most of what other cycle computer things do.

You could also try something like a hiplok d lock and wear it on the rucksack strap(it has 2 long clips sticking out on the back side).

Hope this helps you to shortcut some of the kit trying/rebuying, I used a few different things before I found what worked for me.

thanks all my commutes are varied so leaving lock attatched to cycle stand not practical.
my d locks are quite long so may be awkward to carry via the Velcro straps.

I did today see a ebike that had a lock fitted to the rear of cycle and mounts on the frame stays where a v brake would fit.

the bike had 28" wheels though so tyre and rim are not so deep as my mtb tyres/rim, I believe it might be possible to use a cable with the lock to secure to bike stands and also loop through front wheel.

t
abus do these locks I believe there called ampero there are various types

will lock in my local bike shop

thank you
