how do I find the motor gear reduction ratio

Hi, Id like to know what number do I set the P1 setting on the kt lcd3, how do I find the motor gear reduction ratio?

P1 46 for D/D hubs.
D/D hubs have no gear reduction which is why they are next to impossible to ride with no power.
The maths for gear ratio is simple gear ratio 0 x motor magnets 46 = P1 46.

Count the number of magnets contained inside the motor and enter that as P1. Try setting it as '46' and see if the correct speed is reported. You will also have to set P2 to '0'.
