There's a (seemingly genuine) BNWT (Brand New With Tags) Honda Step Compo on ebay if anyone's interested. No, I'm not the seller! Pricey though, at £1499...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------I think it's a collectors piece rather than one to be used day to day, since as halfmedley says, it's a bit behind the times and was even under par for performance when first produced. It's always possible it could increase in value over the years.

It's a well known fact* that gay people ride Hondas and the pink pound is strong so it may fetch quite a bit.Studying the photos it looks beautifully engineered if nothing else, it's what you expect from Honda I guess.
Just don't say this out loud at a Moto GP track. It's a well known fact* that gay people ride Hondas
Hopefully the forum will never come to this. The last two posts were really rather disappointing and whilst may have been posted tongue in cheek I think we should stick to the topics.
Whew!!! That's a brave statement to make in public. I'd keep that quiet near any local biker's meetIt's a well known fact* that gay people ride Hondas

In my experience Honda motorbikes have had the best finish and build quality of the Japanese big four, but as ever, even the best make mistakes. Their early V fours in the VFR series had a number of problems and the camshaft drive design was a mistake which had to be revamped. But typically with Honda, when they did get it finally sorted it was a very fine engine indeed.Dont Honda also make the worlds most reliable engine, their 2.3 Vtec I think from their Accord, 15 Million units made without 1 recorded 'engine failure'. Wonder if thats carries over to their bikes?

HiI do think they are the vangard of a new mode of transport if only cruise speeds on 20 mph could be maintained on modestly priced bikes and batteries for two hours. I'd love to know how much of an urban population is within an hours door to door assisted cycle.
Which is an exact description of the Torq 1, hopelessly overgeared (by 40%) for speed and without pedalling only able to motor very reluctantly up 6%.Even if it (20 mph) was legal a 200w hub would struggle on anything but the flattest of ground and if geared to do so would die on encountering any significant hill, headwind, or heavyload -
What about the mighty Honda C90 Cub, haven't they made something like 30 million of those...and still apparently the biggest selling moped in Japan. Wish they still imported them, I'd buy one!My vote as champion for reliability is the CBR600
