Hi there! Seeking Conversion Kit advice please.

I started off with rim brakes then after a while I noticed the rims wearing, so for £70 I bought another bike with disc brakes. I'm sure a wheel rebuild with new rim would have been much more and saved all the faff of a wheel rebuild.
