Hi, I have joined this forum because after lots of research I find myself coming here for unbiased information.

I am looking to purchase my first e-bike at the end of the month. No spring chicken @ 65 with knackered knees and feet I am looking for a comfy ride and being able to cruise all day, not too many hills around here, I love to get in the New Forest with my camera. My budget is up to £1k , and after lots of reading I am leaning towards the Woosh Big Bear LS, I had one conversation with them and they were very helpful.
I would be very grateful for any advice. My local bike shops seem to start around £1600 for anything with a reasonable size battery.

I'm afraid, being a Trade Member I can only offer you my biased advice!
But I welcome you to the forums and strongly suggest you take a test ride of whichever style of bike you think you may be happy riding.
After that first ride you'll have plenty of questions that should point you to your ultimate purchase - but please do take a test ride before parting with your hard-earned.
Oh, and be prepared to have a lot of fun!

Hi Bob, don't be afraid being a trade member, I am looking for all the advice I can get!! I would love to take a test ride but the dealers in my area all sell bikes upwards of £1600. I have visited them and they have offered test rides but I would only do that if they had bikes in my price range, I would be very uncomfortable trying their bikes knowing I am not going to purchase from them. Thanks for your welcome, I guess I will have to travel further to find prices to suit my pocket.
