Hi again, sorry I didn't see the replies earlier but thanks for the welcome
Yes - hills are pretty common around here! I'm 5'9" of average build and not a regular cyclist, although hoping that the extra help will make my commute possible - it's 6 miles each way, a few days a week
Budget started at about 1000 but now I realise that won't go far I have settled at about 1200. One make I have tried is a Wisper but saw a review for a Woosh which also looked good... so many choices!!! I want a robust enough bike to last me through the winter and tackle the hills around here.
