GT Avalanche 2.0 hydraulic 2010. Bafang Bbs02 750w with Down the tube battery 48v 17ah.

Had a dry gear housing which was unexpected inspected (photo)

Looks like the factory QC failed there then with no lube., it will likely be noisy.
Use a lube that is nylon/plastic friendly as some may be able to make it's way in to the internal plastic gearing.

So got the ebike finished and took it out for a run.

I ended up buying XOD hydraulic brake kit and just used the levers on my existing Calipers and rotors. Looks way better than the bafang sensors.

I have added a Lekki 46t and a SR Suntor NCX suspension seat post.

Covered 20miles yesterday on cycle way, roads and forestry tracks.

Well happy with the performance.
