Hi there,

Thanks for allowing me to join this group/forum.

My name is Rob and I live near Romford, Essex (UK).

I bought myself an electric bike yesterday, it is a Moustache Samedi 27 Xroad 3. My intention is to use it for a hilly semi-rural daily commute over 4-5 miles.

At the moment, I am looking for reasonably priced insurance cover mainly for theft, but also for third parties too. The online quotes that I have seen so far, all seem excessive in price.

I can insure my car and my motorcycle cheaper than ebike insurance,
Too knickable to get low insurance unless the bike is skin grafted to you,

I will call them this week and ask, but I expect they will only cover theft, not 3rd party etc.
