bar the obvious E?u restrictions are there any other detrimental factors ie excessive engine wear etc i believe the warranty is void ? not sure but fancy itr as hitting 15.5 the stopping is a bit of drag

i have a 2014 bike and have never taken my bad ass dongle off it motor is fine and just lifts the 15mph limit, it does not give you any extra power tho and will drain the batt faster if pushing 25mph.

no dealer can prove a dongle has been used or posted any proof ever as martin fits them at ebike shop and honers the warranty.

using a dongle just makes the bike sclass so to void the warranty is just madness tbh as you are just using the motor what it was made for in the first place.

down side is the faster you go the less range you will get.

yes fancy the bad ass one as just appears to slip over the sensor dont have to take engine apart

yes just slides over the sensor at the back speed is half on display so 20 is 10mph.

all you have to do is move the wheel magnet back if you take it off hold reset and bike back to factory settings.

if you buy dir from badd ass then they can do the 3.2 software and then the cut off is 75kph but must email them first for a custom one;0

What range do you get with the badass ?

it depends in what mode you are in and how fast you are going but in turbo you might get 22-30 miles on the flat.

thats how far they got with that dongle fitted they should be able to do it but email them first as its just software.

i cant see the point tho as 35mph is fast enough with 3.2 even if you could peddle fast enough the batt will be dead in 8 miles going 50 mph.

you will also need a massive front gear to get up to that speed.

the main reason i use a dongle is i ride with super fit riders and if i cut out at 15mph id be left for dust as they can average 20mph on the flat.

with the dongle i can get 28 miles and avg 25mph on and off.

you can try them for 3 months and send it back if you dont like it for a full refund.

mine is 3.3 but the 3.4 has new case and extra 1000 km batt life.

Yes I see that on the website, do you have to turn it on or off? Or is it just on all the time?

no it turns its self on as soon as it picks up the magnet on the wheel. thats how they got it to get better batt life.

a new batt is 6 quid every 6000km.
