Hi, another which bike question...sorry

I am considering all options at the moment. All I want is to be able to get to the farm, about a 10-15m round trip, country lanes, a very busy B road and farm track but got to admit I do want something that looks good, can't help it, it's the show off in me ;-)

I would love you to like the Miami beach racer,in ruby red and cream,price £815.00. It's got the normal Bafang 250 watt motor,10Ah battery and Shimano 7-speed gears all packaged in an easy rider style bike.
I am only importing 20, but if you are a bit of a show off,you may love it.

that bike is 2800 new be bargain at a grand dongle or not.

ps dongle removes the 15mph speed limit and the old farts dont like it.

also as the bike is from ebike shop the warranty is not transferable so will have to sort something out with the seller if anything does go wrong.

That bike:

has two things against it: frame size may be too big for your 5ft4 and the rear direct drive motor is heavy and has low torque. Not good for battery use, muddy tracks and hills. You would be much better off with a rear geared hub motor that has an internal gearbox whose purpose is to multiply its torque by 4 to 5 times.

the motor and the batt whould be over a grand on there own. you get a so much better bike for not that much more. tho brand new all about 1500 quid.

even 6 months ago you could have saved 300 quid buying it dir from germany but not now

if you are riding a lot on farm tracks, rigid front fork is a no no. A full sus bike is much better. They are expensive (like the one SW suggested yesterday), this one is a lot cheaper (within your budget) and still has the right bits: rear wheel drive, adjustable long travel front suspension and hydraulic brakes. The new batch has 180mm rotors front and rear.

29" wheels are a tad big for the OP.

Not a lot of farm tracks, just one down to the farm, primarily road riding.

Sorry to keep asking, still tying myself up in knots. So, have looked at the Whoosh site, have a couple in mind but wondered if any of these available through Halfords would be recommended...up to £1000, only looking at Halfords because there is a shop not too far away and as the before mentioned discount of I join British Cycling.

Thanks, but it is pretty far from me and I don't drive, hence the need for a bike. just checked, it's a 4 hour round trip and 4 bus changes so definitely not an option but thanks anyway.
