Hi, I'm about to buy my first ebike after a lot of research, but I'm in New Zealand which has a tiny range available so I'm going to have to fly to Australia to get any choice. I've almost decided on a BH Revo 27.5 because the Brose motor seems to be more powerful and quieter than the other commercial bikes. I like the battery being integrated into the front bar as well.

Does anyone have an opinion on Brose v Bosch?

Is that green flying to Australia to buy an e-bike? Can't you just order it from Germany? <ducking>

haha, not a bad idea, but any way I go about it is going to be expensive, and not particularly green. At least over there I can try a decent range of modern bikes before I buy.
But, has anyone ridden a Brose? Are they that much quieter?

My Spanish is almost good enough for me to convince the BH centre in S. Sebastian to let me have a go on one. But then the salesman would bug me for months and months to convince me to buy one...
