Help! Help with error code

Hi folks, I bought an ebike from Hyuhome on Amazon several months ago and it was working fine until yesterday when it started displaying "E 10" after powering on.

No power appears to be going to the motor with either the throttle or pedal assist, but the light, horn and screen all work. I wasn't sent a manual with it and the seller hasn't responded to my query yet.

Anyone have any ideas on what the code might mean and how I can fix it?

Error 10 means the controller can't communicate with the LCD, so you must gave damaged one of the wires inside the cable, or you wiped out the controller or LCD when some wires shorted. Check that no pins in the connector got bent.
