HELP - Just LOST assist function on my Kalkoff Endeavour ?

That's exactly how I feel, but we're lucky enough to be able to sort out stuff for ourselves. If you can do that sort of thing, it's very frustrating to have to put your problems into the hands of a system that doesn't want to cooperate with you.

It's madness, a simple plug/play component !!! Reseller's are absolutley CLUELESS !!!

I presumed i was purchasing quality, it is well made but aftersales are NON existant...I'll post pics of control ring pcb and it's 6 connections...I KNOW the ON/OFF pins on the PCB and the speed selection pins...PLUS you can see the 5v (i presume) for led's main power.

The item you need is a KD170514013 (Whole new control ring + LCD screen) as it is one unit. To buy this is £169.15. If it's under warranty still, that should be covered.

Fitting is relatively straight forward - however if you lose the cable inside the frame you may need to drop the motor out to thread it through. If a company hasn't done this before - be prepared for quite a large labour cost being quoted sadly.

Not heard of a TONARO mate, BUT i paid for german Engingeering and have had RUBBISH TBH !!!...

This is the bike, it is sold all over the world under different names. Unfortunately, the UK supplier has closed down, so when my bike broke I emailed Australia, there at Aseako bikes, a man called Brent replied that they would not ship to the UK but gave me the email of the Chinese supplier.
I emailed China and almost by return, got a request for a photo of the bike to be sure of the model. Two days later they sent an e-invoice which I paid by Paypal. Less that 14 days later, the motor and gearbox arrived via UPS with the customs bill.
So simple dealing with professional dealers.

That wouls not surprise me, even though it to remove replace you simply remove from handlebar (as any shifter/brake etc) and simply unplug from the LCD unit.

So they are manufactured separately.
