HELP. Ithink I've broken my wifes battery

Please help. I think I have f**ked up.

I bought an Oxyden mk1 bike off ebay.

It's been great. So much so that even I like to have a Sunday blast on it.

My wife's getting annoyed so I thought I better wash it.......... can you see where this is going.

Once cleaned I thought I would take it for 1 last ride, but nothing.

A nice clean bike but now I think I've damaged the battery.

I checked the 30A fuse at the bottom and that looks intact.

When I connect it up to the charger I can see the charge indicator on the charger go green to red. And when I press the power button on the battery some LEDs light up. But when I remove the cable the battery does nothing.

Can anyone help

That doesn't look like an Oxygen mk 1 battery. Probably better to show a picture of the whole bike. I very much doubt that you've damaged the battery whatever version it is. Once you show us what bike you have, I should be able to help you figure out what's wrong.

Hi. I am currently at work so I cannot take a photograph. But I have attached a link of a sales brochure. I managed to get the battery working again so panic over. I did this by removing both end caps and letting it air for 24 hours. I have tested the bike thoroughly and I think I got away with it. thanks for taking time to respond to my question
