Don't think we have any members with a contour. I've added the Extreme HD119 to my MEMBERS_CAMS spreadsheet so you can compare it with what other members have. i.e. my CARDVR, Lemmy's GF2,
steveindenmark's GOPro, etc ...

I went for the Contour Roam in the end. wont get it until May as our friend has delayed his visit to UK for a month..we are probably away to Spain for a cycling trip at Easter so it would have been handy...Ah well USA prices so much better worth the wait I guess

In last Sunday`s Travel Section of the Sunday Times they gave a good gear recommendation on an Activity Camera . This was Oregon Scientific`s ATC Mini Action Camera . It can be fitted to the helmet or handlebar , has 110 degree field of of vision and gives 1.5 hours of recording time , PC and MAC compatible . It has a mini USB and a TV out jack , so you can plug it straight into your TV . Price is £120 . uk.oregonscientific.com

Quality is great but have moved it back to handlebar mount as on the helmet it wasn't watchable because it was so shakey.

Just curious, how will a video camera help solve the problem of agressive / poor drivers. Surely it's too small to act as any kind of deterrent?

That's a very good point RG but if some cyclists feel more secure on our roads with a camera strapped to their equipment, that's fine by me. I shan't be joining them though.
