Hi every body!

I am from Finland, Helsinki and they call me "Kentsu".

The reason that I joined your forum is that in Finland we do not have any electric bike discussion forums, we only have a lot of forums concerning road bikes etc. So, I have many topics that I would like to discuss with people that are familiar with e-bikes. That is not possible in my country, they do not understand upon electrik bike filosophy!

I myself have a Rixe Nancy S 2010 (same as in Great Britain Kalkhoff Pro Connect S) and my wife have a Rixe Bordeaux G8 2009. My own Nancy S bike is in Finland a little bit illegal due to its motor effenciency and handthrottle, but my wife's pedelec is completely legal!

Welcome to the forum Kentsu,

I spent 2 weeks last summer touring your beautiful country and was very impressed with cycle paths.
I spotted a few electric bikes whilst there too.

Yes we have in Finland some very beatiful cycling paths and many minor roads very suitable for biking as they are non paved, so there do not drive many cars!

Formerly in Finland we also had many bicycle manufactures, abouth 10-15. But now a days we have onlý Helkama! All the others have gone forever or then they have transformed their productions to China. This is very sad!
