Been interested in the whole e-bike think for a while and have finally got mine on the road - loving it so far.

Went fairly standard for my first e-Bike build using the Voilamart 1000W 26" rear wheel kit and a Chinese 48v 12.5ah battery.

Looking forward to seeing all your projects.

Hi Courty I have the same kit but I am having troubles installing the tyres and valve onto the rim (compete beginner). I try pumping the valve but there is still so much space left to fill and the tyre just seems too big for it. I believe the tyre size is a 26*1.95, is this the correct size as the rim seems smaller than a 26"? Could I be required to use a particular bicycle pump?

Is the tyre tight on the rim ? Mine was a little loose to start but once inflated it bedded in fine.
Close to 100 miles on it since and no problem
