Hi all,

Based in Bolton if any other off road e bikers fancy meeting up for a blast around the trails

Picking up my first e bike next week, I have gone for this.....

No, no need

I had a demo on a Haibike around Cannock with EMTB coaching and found the standard assistance in turbo spot on for the uphill/ flats and downhill I was as fast as my current orange 5

Maybe I will change my mind as I get used to the extra speed

yes as 15mph is just to slow for me anyway and never take it of now tbh

What sort of riding you doing with yours, and where does the extra kick in, surely not uphill, mostly flats I suppose?

i just take it anywhere tbh last time up forest was going 74kph down hill so not needed there lol

dongle cuts out at 33 mph ,tho u need to put in a lot of effort to go that fast like a normal bike just 2 times the speed

down side is batt range will be half at best why i try keep it at 25mph suites me tbh.

Interesting....

I also ride a Yamaha enduro bike so I will probably get my outright speed fix on that, but I do enjoy the simplicity of cycling straight from my front door.

with the bad ass dongle you just slide it over the sensor n thats it bar moving the magnet.

push reset and bike back to factory settings if removed.
