Just got in from my late night, wet weather, shopping trip, I love my bike :D
Hi and welcome.
During this festive period, when cars are jostling to get parking space at our local supermarket, I do get a perverse pleasure cycling up to the front door and locking my hopper to the bike stand. Luckily my scarf around my chin covers a large grin. Usually mine is the only bike there.
The downside is getting out alive from the car park:rolleyes:

Finding my (electric) wheels

The first electric bike I saw in the flesh was at my local Asda, when I realised what it was I really wanted to find its human and pick their brains about it, I've seen it there a few times but still not the rider.

Lidl is not so bad for parking but Asda is nearly always quite full up on the proper bike stands, specially the covered one, I'm hoping the council will start putting more parking spots in general as we have had a massive roll out on the Boris bikes nearby.

Yes, every time I go to Aldi, there's an electric bike parked outside.

It's mine!

That captive cable lock on the Smart doesn't look too cropper-resistant, unless it's some kind of supermoly or such:
I'd have thought a bike that expensive would have something a tad more robust; but I guess it matches the rest of the bike's ethos, at that - Talks the talk, but don't, quite, walk the walk.

Apropos bike racks - We have 2 bike shops in town - And neither of them has anything you could lock a bike to:
In fact, if I want to go into Halfords I have to lock the bike to B&Q's trolley rail, 100 yds away.
