just joined the forum a couple of days ago, I've been using my electric bike for the last year or so, already on battery no. 2 !

Hi there, neat job on the bike

Looks same kit I have (8fun/bafang)

How come two batteries in one year ? Sounds expensive !

yes, it's the 8fun motor, well spotted.

I think the reason the first battery died can only be termed 'battery abuse'. I got around 100 charges from it but like I say I think because of the terrain I use it over (mainly off road, woods and gravel paths) I was sending it to an early grave.
