I'am looking for an E bike for my camper van and want to go for a folding model. I quite like to look of the FreeGo folding light but can't find any reviews online. Any advice on this particular bike or FreeGo generally would be very welcome.... or any other suggestions re make/model.

Hi Stephen,
I had a go on a Freego Wren at the weekend and I quite liked it,it's on my shortlist. It was my first go on an electric bike so I didn't take every thing in. It seemed well made and felt stable I think in part due to battery being behind the seat post. Obviously it's a very different model to a folding bike.
Have you tried any bikes out yet? I tried 4 different models out with different drive systems and they all felt quite different from each other.
if you are anywhere near Tunbridge wells I would recommend you having a look in Cycling Made Easy very helpful staff they will take you out for a test drive. I'm sure they had a Freego folding model in the shop.
Sorry not much help.
Lynn.

the woosh Gale would fit your criteria.

Good battery (13AH), Bafang SWX motor, good range, front suspension, twist and go throttle, comfortable. £669.
Suits 5ft3 to 6ft.

If you want as light as possible to make it easy to lift in and out, while remaining reasonable priced, the Kudos Secret model might well suit.
