Hello fellow ebikers,
joined the forum a while ago, am older rider! been ebiking about 3 years now, best thing I've done getting the bike,
a Giant escape 2, purchased second hand, and has reinvented biking for me, I also have a mountain bike which
I never used but as I get fitter I sometimes feel like using!
My main gripe is the more I cycle the more on the road incidents I'm experiencing, so always have the camera on now.
best wishes Ally

this is the most recent incident, police were only wiling to speak to the female today, and advise her to be more careful.
is this an adequate response from them? have lots of incidents similar, felt this was to close to leave.

It was, as you say, unbelievable. However no actual harm was done so a talking too is probably the best course. A near miss is still a miss, but the more that awareness of the distancing need to bikes is spread - the better.
That said, I'm glad I don't have to ride busy roads like that as I live in rural Wales and can mostly avoid the busy bits.
Anyway, welcome to the forum.

I was out on the bike yesterday, I had my lights on and wore a high Viz jacket. A guy walked straight in front of me, luckily I stopped in time, I said 'whoa', he said 'f**k off'. I just cycled away so it was pointless trying to speak to the guy, the joys of cycling.
