Having trouble my eBay bargain

Hello all,
I could do with some help getting my speed controller wired up.
I've been through all the usual troubleshooting tips and all looks good bit still nothing moves, there's a click from a relay when I throttle up?
There is a sticker on the back of the controller (I'll try and upload a photo) what's confusing me is the brown and the black speed limiter wires to resistance?
Any ideas?

Probably a good idea to upload some pics of the controller/motor/wiring to give us an idea of what you have.

I've not got it with me at the moment, this is all I have, a crappy close up of the hub motor and a very similar looking controller I've seen on ebay zsunwin?
