I'll probably need to replace the Hailong battery that came with our Woosh XF07 kit some time fairly soon; still OK but certainly not got the capacity it used to. It is a 13Ah battery, I'd probably replace with something larger.
I can see there are at least 3 kinds of HL batteries, with the connectors being 4 flat blades, 5 flat blades, or 5 round pins. Is there anything else to look out for from the compatibility point of view (apart from voltage) in choosing an HL cased battery to match? The Woosh kit uses the 4 flat blade version.
I may well buy a direct equivalent from Woosh in which case there shouldn't be any issues.
I notice they also have 'New DP2170 36V 20AH downtube for BBS01' which they say are slightly larger. Do they still have the same cradle?
The most likely alternative supplier is Yose. I'm very happy with Woosh, but the price difference is very marked; £389 or £187 approx for around 15Ah. The bigger Yose ones don't seem to be available for UK at the moment. I don't know what cells either Woosh or Yose use. I assume the Yose are inferior, but the question is, does anyone know how inferior? I remember seeing various posts in the past but cant find them right at the moment.
Can anyone recommend any other supplier?
We probably won't go for recell as we can keep the old one for emergency spare, and it probably isn't economically worth while either?
