Hi guys,

Just a quick one to let you know we have the first batch of Haibike's arrive today!
And what a fun day it is, we have already been for a quick spin, not for the faint hearted!



Aside from the amazing spec, I have to say what a lovely looking machine!

If you search the forum on here, we have clearly stated that we have been looking to get them for months now. We already been taking orders since January.

If your still interested, give me a call so we can discuss and you can come and try one out, they are lovely machines!

I am hoping to finalise the C2W document things today with electric cycles for KTM Macina...

Martin posted about adopting Haibike on 4th December, and then offered to answer questions about them in another post 2nd January. That second post ran to two web pages containing 63 posts and was on the front page of the forum for over nine days.

I did read it actually!! doh... Just didn't connect this website with the poster .. Eddieo asked about trekking and they weren't coming in...

Anyhow... Nice to see more Haibikes coming in.. Good luck and I'm sure you will be busy! . And as I said before

Martin, you're driving me nuts. My pet hate is inappropriate use of the apostrophe, and I know I'm not the only one on this forum.

Your lesson for today:
The Haibikes are coming -correct
The Haibike's are coming - incorrect (and makes you look like an uneducated tw@t).

The apostrophe should only be used in the meaning of pertaining to or belonging to the Haibike as in:
The Haibike's gears are nice - means a particular Haibike has nice gears.
Note that the position of the apostrophe changes when there's more than one Haibike as in:
Haibikes' gears are nice, which means all Haibikes have nice gears.

One other possibility is when you abbreviate the word "is" as in : What's up?
So you could say:
The Haibike's on my driveway.

Sorry to have to point this out. I know we all make mistakes. You can make as many spelling mistakes or other grammatical errors as you like. They don't bother me at all.

Yes this is how it 'appears' on the website,
However at the time just e-bikes announced this on their website I was in a meeting with the Haibike UK brand manager, who to his amazememt at that point in time had'nt confirmed any 2013 orders with just e-bikes..

I can confirm we are the first to recieve these models.

This could be related to following up enquiries we contacted them several times and heard nothing. Did not fill us with confidence so we went elsewhere. Look like nice bikes if spare parts are provided when needed I know one member of this forum had a bit of a nightmare. If I make it to Redbridge may well try one out! Sounds like you have had some fun test riding them.
