Haibike Yamaha eBay Batteries?

I have a Haibike Sduro Allmtn 6.0. Has anyone tried the eBay batteries from Germany? I'm after a second battery to increase mileage but do not have the cash to purchase an official Yamaha one.

I fitted an extender in parallel on my Haibike. It is a 378Wh 10s3p battery made for me by a guy in Germany, fitted into a home made housing. The power cables are soldered onto the original battery connections on the connector.

Todays ride, note the elevation rather than the distance. There is some serious climbing in there!

Chris that's great, can I PM you some questions? The reason this has come up is although the display gives a range of 90 odd mile range in eco, it is more like 60 and I signed up for the 74 mile london to Brighton off road run.

Yes PM away, but be aware battery range is very subjective. With 400Wh I have ridden well over 60 miles in the UK with 40% less, on the other hand with 778Wh on my bike today it was just over 50km with 11% left when I got back.
