I don't immerse the bike in lakes :) that would make the electric system very sad. It has happened on the front hub that I found a mud hole where the axle just disappeared. But never happened on the rear axle. But this problem occoured on the rear axle after only four months.

...alright. I have contacted my LBS two times and no answer. So I decided to buy a new hub. Can't wait whole summer without bike! Don't wanna see these crap hubs anymore so I bought the same one as my rear hub. Now I look at the future with Hope!
still I got answer from my LBS. He had contacted Haibike and they say warranty is not covered by this. Well, no surprise. But still sad. He offerred me to buy new wheel sets.

He also said that in his store they had not heard of this issue but he had heard of several cases from a bigger store in our capital. Also the same hub, XLC Evo.

I also got a comment from another user that had the same problem.

Personally, my new hubs have worked just fine since fitting, they have rolled 1036/368 km (rear/front). And I can now easy remove the wheel without problems getting axle stuck (and bike have now rolled almost 3000km without other problems than this so overall happy).

One of the first things I did with my bike was sell the cheap wheels. Bought dt swiss 240hubs etc, good quality and easy to service.

People feeling the need to leave a disagree thing whatever it is over my last comment, which was that an 8month old bike should not be suffering so many problems...strange people
