Jeremy Harris on ES has substantial evidence that they're one and the same company. This explains why they didn't seem too bothered when I told them I was going to cancel my order and buy from GBK. The only rational explanations that I can think of are:
China maybe has a turnover limit where companies have to pay extra tax or submit more detailed returns or register for their equivant to VAT.
BMSBattery didn't have the best reputation for customer service, so they started again under a new name determined to get it right.
Any other explanations?
There's still one thing that doesn't make sence: Why are the shipping costs less from GBK? - unless they're hiding something from the shipping companies by pretending to be sa different company, i.e. they're sending batteries as "wheelchair parts" like their kits.
Very interesting. Another thing I've noticed is that although they appear to be selling exactly the same products, GBK have renamed them slightly different to give the impression they're different products or they make the products. For example, BMS Sells the Q100 and Q85 motors, GBK sells what appear to be exactly the same motors but call them GBK-100 and GBK-85.
If you check the whois registration info for both domains, they have different registrants, different addresses, but both are in the same province/state in China.
Perhaps GBK is just a reseller selling BMS products?
