Hi Flecc
My statement was as I pointed out to you Flecc and I hardly strung two sentences together did I, as they were on completely different lines! Hardly strung together eh? Not inconvenient Flecc just a little annoying.
So what do you suggest Flecc? No advertising? Get rid of the advertising channels altogether? Of course advertising will add to the price and it always has done but it doesn't make it a good idea not to advertise does it?
Ah but if you had not heard of the advertised branded products then you wouldn't be looking at the unbranded products of similar type in the first place And as for unbranded cereals? Yuk! I have tried some and they are not a patch on Kellogs and taste like cardboard! Bit like Heinz Beans.
Beans Meanz Heinz!! Whilst I might agree with you that advertising may push the price up, in this case it is sure worth paying!
I will still disagree here Flecc. Like you say you can save a few pence on buying unbranded, non advertised products. Well I have no choice because if I want a TV I have to have a license which is no choice whatsoever.
But only two people have commented Flecc, just two.
I said on and off the forum and off the forum I've found that many people would rather not have to pay for a license to own a TV. It wasn't blunt and was simply a statement.
Also in Danny's figures advertising TV came out top over all. lol
I think it's the TV License that makes Britain unique not the BBC.
Together with other things of course.
Whilst you are entitled to your opinion Flecc so too am I and you haven't managed to convert me I think we will have to agree to disagree.
Regards
