I happened to notice this on eBay a little while ago and I can report, if it's of any help to anyone, that these Xion-powered PCs are gutsy with a surprising degree of hillclimbing ability, feeling very similar to crank-driven bikes in their power delivery.

The quality of Kalkhoff frames is pretty decent and their choice of rims, gear sets, brakes and lights should mean a trouble-free, reliable ownership experience.

I drew attention to this bike yesterday though I'm not sure if anyone noticed or cared. For the record, this essentially new and unused bike sold for £800 a little while ago.

Probably, had it been one of the current forum favourites such as a Big Bear, it would have generated a lot more interest. For me though, I would have one of these Pro-Connects over a BB anytime as I think the drive system and power delivery are superb......well, I would say that, of course, as I already own one!

£800 for a step-through model from Kalkhoff with all the kit most riders would want has to be a real bargain in my book.

Now I'm wondering if it may have been a forum member or reader who bought it.
