January 29, 201313 yr Speaking to our LBS last week - They intend exhibiting Scott ebikes at the Eden event, in April. They've been saying they'll start selling ebikes of some kind for months, but I've never seen any in store. Here's hoping....

But your right the perfect bike for intended poster but will they recognize the fact... when posting this stuff I feel that it is probably of more use to the many lurkers out there who look in and dont post...bless em!

Yes that sounds good and even the crossbar doesn't look as if I am a midwife!! now specs resarch. thank you.. Very tempted. Ps I usually startnwith a basic idea and see where advice takes me so moving on to this one now... The other two still in the frame. i simply haven't GOT the money to buy a good setup to go on my other bike soz... Ayhow thanks for suggestion . Going to mention on my sparatcus thread so if anybody wants to pass by and add their views on why this is best for me, other than I am 5'5" (somebody cares!!) feel free .. If I were in wissy's position and buying on-spec I would just go for this and not think further on it considering all she has said to date.

January 30, 201313 yr Ater much angst today with evrything going wrong with my attempts to buy the scott bike it all alpeared to come back alive obly for it to fail at last hurdle. They will not post it because it is cycle to work and also an electric bike!!! South of England way way too far to drive and cost silly money in petrol for my old camper, if it made it. So bad news all round which is such a shame although there is a tiny tiny chance one nice man there may be able to persuade jobsworths to let me getvit posted. i offered to pay and do a waiver letter but no... Boo hoo. Now to look again I guess
