Good hybrid tyre

I'm about to replace my schwalbe tyrago tyres with ones with good rolling ability, but can handle trails aswell.
I have looked at schwalbe landcruisers which seem ok but seeing I am replacing I'd like any advice about your tyres and their pro's and cons?

<--I have these on the bike in my avatar, great tyre for my local country roads, pump them up hard and there`s good rolling ability.
On my other bike i have the Schwalbe Rangecruisers, a thinner tyre more suited to smoother surfaces.
depends on your terrain, i`d go for the Landcruisers if you`re talking about trails.

I’ve been happy with my Scwhalbe G-Ones. I mostly use roads and reasonable trails. Probably not so good in wet mud but roll well on roads and are good on dry grit / dirt.

Take a look at the Schwalbe Marathon GT 365 tyres. I originally ran Landcruisers, changed to Marathon Plus and now run the GT 365's. By far, the GT 365's are the best of the bunch, for traction on damp surfaces and all out rainy weather. They are really good on both tarmac and loose surfaces, plus they have great puncture resistance too.

My use of the GT365 is much the same as Fordulike's... I have been running 28x2" GT365 tyres on my Powerfly7 for the past 2 years (8,000+ miles). I got about 4,000 miles out of the rear tyre and nearly double that on the front with 3 slow punctures. On tarmac I run them at 35/40 lbs F/R and off-road 25/30 lbs. The only problem is getting my preferred 2" tyres - I ordered them from RoseBikes in Germany.

And in case you want an alternative to the ubiquitous Scwhalbe brand.

I have been running a pair of Specialized Crossroads Armadillo 650B 27.6” Wired Clincher Tyres in 1.9” width.

They have proved tough as old nails having now covered over 6,254 since 5th January 2017.

Hard wearing and highly puncture resistant (No punctures in the rear so far).

They Shrug of road miles and work better than they should off road.

About half these miles have been proper off road miles all year round, thorns, mud, stones, high temps. low temps etc etc.

My Haibike came with Hans Dampf tyres, I found them to very good on road or trails.

poor rolling? the tread looks more the road end than offroad.

sjpt might have been referring to just the standard touring Marathon Plus, which is more of a commuter tyre. The ones I used were the MTB version:

The good thing with the tread design, is that you can inflate the tyres to a higher pressure to utilise the centre tread. This is good for road use and has a fairly low rolling resistance. Drop the pressure right down and more of the side tread comes into play. Higher rolling resistance, but more grip off-road. I used to run them at the lowest recommended pressure, as I have oodles of torque and rolling resistance never comes into the equation on my choice of tyre.

The Marathon GT 365 tyres I mentioned, are still not the ultimate off-road tyre, but offer a more consistent and safe grip on varying surfaces, than the Marathon Plus MTB.

I have a specialised pathfinder pro 2 bliss to try out on the CX/gravel bike and for my new Road rat CX build I have some SKY BLUE rims ready to build the Alfine 8 & Bafang G370 (now on route from China)in to , for these rims I have a pair of 700/43c Panaracer gravelking SK's coming in BLUE.
All will be revealed one day when I start the build thread.
