so ive just built my first battery out of used cells (50 Sanyo) its 8A plus

so i put the cells through what i think was a harsh test and these 50 were passes. all the cells had 1800 to 1850mAh. that battery has charged to just under 42V.

i have a bafang 250w mid drive and was thinking 10 miles on 7 to 9 PAS making sure to use the throttle a fair bit as well, that should be a good test.

what do the experts think

Personally I'd start off low and build up the PAS levels (and I assume the speed /amps too).

See how pack performs and watch the voltage sag in particular in the LCD. Worth stopping to check the pack for heat too

A few throttle bursts ought to show you how it sags under load. Hopefully not too much

i tried a little test, i ran it on the throttle as the weathers bad. noticed it was only using 70w.

so i adjusted the brake and got it up to 150w. then ran it on the throttle for 15 minutes or 5 miles between 250w and 380w using the brake to up the wattage. it never flickered and didnt even drop a bar on the screen. came back in and recharged in 30 minutes. probably averaged 250w
