Finding my (electric) wheels

A short time ago I posted a commentary about the purchase of my "City Runner" from Poweredbicycles. I am 76 and it was soon obvious that it was too powerful for me. It was designed for someone younger and more sporty more sporty than I am. I tried riding it round the houses a couple of times and, I have to admit, its power was frightening. I have never taken it on a journey anywhere, not even popping to the shops.

Within a couple of weeks of receiving it I had a stroke which zapped out my right leg and took away my sense of balance - if I close my eyes I would fall over. Tht finished it once and for all. What I need now is an electric trike.

If you Google Poweredbicycles you will see I paid £1,100 for the "City Runner". It is absolutely unmarked and in perfect order. If anyone is in a position to collect it from Solihull they can own it for the bargain price of £750. Contact me off site if you can or post here if you can't.

Les.

Les: don't want the bike, miles from Solihull, but just wanted to say how sorry I was to read of your stroke and problems. I hope something turns up to help you get about.

Sorry to hear of your troubles Les. It's worth you placing a free advert in our Classified Ads section which you'll find on this link.

Thanks Lynda. It doesn't show up in a different colour on my screen - looks the same as the other print. Its only after you pointed it out that I hovvered over it and it then became underlined.

Thanks.

Not just your screen, the colours throughout this new forum are very washed out in appearance compared to the old, and links scarcely show up. It's a pity, since links within text are so useful.

Hi Les

I hope you sell the bike soon and get your e-trike and enjoy many more happy days on it....my very first ebike was a trike and I absolutely loved it.
And I take my hat off to your positive attitude
Best wishes
Lynda
