The birmingham evening mail did a review on the giant twist 2.0 today,this was i think the testers first experience of an electric bike,and although he never reached 15mph he did say he was now missing the bike,and commented that his five mile 40 minute commute to the city was cut to 25 minutes.

This is always the trouble with journalist reviews, based on no previous knowledge. I well remember Chris Kelly of the BBC saying the Torq 1 was a great hill climber 
after a trip round the block.
The Twist 1 got the firm thumbs down from A to B in their review, and in a subsequent issue when comparing it to another e-bike, they said it's slowness was such that one could die of boredom riding it.
It also failed to excite the very easy to please Extra Energy people in their test.

although it is not the best electric bike available, it was overall a very positive review on electric bikes,there was mention of the drag from the motor but also praise from the start up assistance and hillclimbing abilties.
Twist 2.0
Don't take the A to B test of the twist too serious - the twist 2.(0 or 1) is a great bike to ride - I know - I own one
