Stop trying to scam people on this forum. That's the picture off the Giant website. You want people to pay with Paypal friends and family, then don't send anything. Anyway, you can buy a new one from Spoke for £79.

What connector do you have on the battery, Baz?

Anybody else, do not respond to any new members offering to buy or sell stuff without fully checking them out.

Yes I think I need to go back to a local giant dealer.

now they have registered the wife as the owner there are no issues just the cost .

I have been looking at the engineering on there web site it’s quite impressive but but £160.00 for a charger is OTT.

Just looking around until the refund comes so I thought it was to good to be true £96.00 for the charger and the battery extension.

Giant are known for high prices with their proprietary bikes , it's a case of buyer beware . But it isn't just Giant , all of the proprietary bikes are all locked in systems with handshaking so they can charge silly prices.
The above is the case for non warrantied bikes which is most of them after two years.
One reason why those of us with the knowledge build our own systems and to an extent also our own batteries.

Hi Nealh
ybou do not have to sell me on kits I totally agree with you , I am currently Breaking Carreras and selling of the bits , all purchased from reputable sellers or private sellers who have all the original paperwork , keys ECT money paid into a bank account .

The wife likes her brands though and it’s her bike now so she will now go to the Giant dealership and spend her money on a new charger and get it programmed in if needs be I am not allowed to mess with it
